DIY: Handle Bar Camera Mount
I figured out another cheap way of taking your digital camera on the trails with you without having to spend hundreds of dollars for a special camera.
Basically all you need is a rear seat post reflector, 1 1″ x 1/4″ screw, a couple of nuts and your camera.
First remove the reflector.
Insert the screw, see where the nut is positioned? Make sure you don’t tighten it too much.
Mount your camera, make sure when you mount it, the base of the camera is flushed onto the mount. Using the nut to make sure its not too far in will ensure that the camera is just right.
Here’s your finished product. I mounted it on the Fezzari Alta Peak and used some old inner tubes as grommets to make sure the mount doesn’t move around.
