Stanchion Lube
I was turned on to this great stanchion lube by Wayne Kardol at Jax Bicycles. This stuff works great! I’d totally recommend it to anyone. But be careful and make sure you don’t get it on your disc or rim brakes…this stuff is a pain to get off. However, one you get it on your stanchions, you’ll immediately feel the difference. Makes your fork and rear shock super cool.
Here’s what FinishLine has to say about it.
Stanchion Fluoro Oil (Stanchion Lube)
Stanchion Fluoro Oil is a pure DuPont liquid fluoropolymer oil. So slippery it even improves the surface slip of Teflon-coated surfaces! It is a surface treatment that is distinctly different and better than solid fluoropolymers like PTFE . Stanchion Fluoro oil will improve the performance and extend the life of fork stanchions, eliminate fork stiction and condition your fork’s rubber seals and o-rings. Can also be used to lubricate inner cable wires, spoke nipples, elastomer suspension components, and derailleur/brake pivot bolts. 15g Bottle with felt pad and extension straw.
• 100% Pure Liquid Teflon® fluoropolymer
• Eliminates stiction, rejuvenates and protects seals
• Extends fork life
• Excellent for derailleur pivots and cables – especially Teflon® coated cables15g Bottle MSRP: 15.99
A recent testimonial:
“Stanchion Fluoro Oil impressed me. My fork felt immediately broken in! A great ‘trick’ to keep your fork working smoothly.?

Though the MSRP is $15.99, I bought mine for about $10.00. Yeah you’ll think when you see the package you’re getting ripped off because the bottle is so friggin small, but its totally worth it.
