Product Development in Action
As I mentioned a few days ago I was meeting up with Mr.Pcych to go over a new design that they may come out with. Pcych has been working on a smaller hydrator trail bag to fit small to medium sized bike frames.
Mr.Pcych and I met up at the Fullerton Loop trail head on Monday evening to try out some of my bikes with his prototype. I was able to take a few shots of the fitting.
I brought out 3 bikes. 1 Small mountain bike, 1 medium mountain bike and 1 small cyclocross. Here’s Mr. Pcych checking the clearance on the bag.
We first mounted the small bag on the KHS XCT 555, it a medium frame.
Side view. No issues with clearance on the suspension.
Next was the Soma Double Cross, small frame cyclocross bike.
Last, but not least, Priscilla’s KHS XC Team, a super small frame.
Its comforting to know that Pcych is making sure that they have their bases covered, from small to large bikes, they’re doing what they can to make it work. By the way, www.Pcych.com is now up. For a while it was still under construction. But if you visit it today, you’ll get a great idea on how and why this bag was created.
