Want a great Cyclocross tire? Get the Kenda Small Block Eight!
When I built up my Cyclocross bike, I shopped around for a good set of tires. I eventually made a decision to purchase a set of the Kenda Small Block Eight. These tires have been great on the trails and on the streets.
They offer low rolling resistance, yet enough grip to make sure you don’t spin out while climbing a steep hill out of the saddle. Surprisingly, I’ve yet to get a flat on these tires and with a mix of commuter and off-road miles that total over 300, these tires have proved to be reliable and durable. So if you’re in the market for CX tires, make sure you check out the Kenda Small Block Eight.
Can we get a shot of the whole Bike? I’ve been diggn on cx bikes lately!
I’ve got a set of those in the 29×2.0 variety. I have tire liners, and the only flat I’ve gotten is when my valve stem snapped in half. I’ve been extremely happy with them. I need new ones though, mine are pretty worn out after over 1k miles.
Tim,
