If it does, wash those suckers! There’s no point in having stinky hands. Throw them in the washer next time you do laundry. Here’s another little tip you can try that I do all the time. Take a shower with your gloves or any other biking items. Priscilla will often find me in the shower…
Wes Castro on the Sette Vexx Moe Ramirez:Since I’m still on the disabled list, Team rider Wes Castro got to take the Sette Vexx on its maiden ride. Here is his race report along with his impressions of the frame: Well lets start this race report with the weather, it was a great southern California…
Yesterday I posted the message above on The Hoff’s FB Page. If you didn’t know, I LOVE the Hoff in Knight Rider and even as an adult, I sometimes pretend that my car can do Turbo Boost when I push the button for my dome light. Anyhow, I consider myself a HOFF Fan just because…
Last night I got a text from El Guapo (David Sanderson) saying that he wanted to pass along the KHS Lucky 7 that he reviewed to me so I can use it this weekend at the Shimano Winter Series Finals. Vince Calvillo, Special Ops Manager for KHS Bicycles was kind enough to let us use…

How to tighten a threadless headset. 2 Bike Companies that went kaput! Woodstock Bikes and Ibex Bikes. Too bad…they made some great products, reasonably…
Road rash? Bruises? Scrapes? If you mountain bike then you probably have a few good crash stories yourself. I’ve probably got more crash stories than the average lady out there. Some may say that perhaps I should work on my technical skills, but I’d like to think I just ride pretty dang hard and fast…
After years of seeing me struggle to wrench on my bike with a pathetic bike stand that simply lifts the rear of the bike a few inches off the ground, my better half surprised me with a new Workstand for our anniversary. With advise from our family friend and rider extraordinaire Jer, she bought me…
If you weren’t sure what Super D is, its basically a mix of XC and DH racing. The last Super D course was designed by Eric Carter (PRO Everything), which meant it was pretty challenging. In fact, some of us were talking and agreed that it was more difficult than the DH course. I would…
With three children under 5 years old it has become exponentially more difficult to get out of the house for rides. Over the three day Valentine’s Day/Chinese New Year’s three day weekend, I was able to get out for about 40 miles which is quite a bit for me. The weekend started when my office…
