Meeting time was at 7:00AM, he wasn’t there at that time so I took off. Remember, we no longer wait for anyone, if you are not there at riding time, you are going to have to catch up! (Although Vince is too slow, so I doubt he would catch me).

Pobrecito? HELL NO! I enjoyed the ride very much! I rode at my own pace, stopped once to do the video and rode the route I wanted. I think I’m gonna start doing more solo rides, they reminded me of my bike commutes, just me, my Bling Machine and the awesome blue skies.

Well, I told Moe I was meeting some buddies at the loop at 9:30. By the time I got to the court house, it felt like it was in the 80’s! I was on the O.G. Single Speed, Yo! Ride time was scheduled for 9:30, they didn’t get there until 9:45. My boy Juan is a rep for Specialized and he brought along with him an old buddy who’s been working for Rodale (Mtn Bike Magazine)out in Pennsylvania. These guys were riding some real *BLING*!! Juan on the 2008 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Pro Carbon (http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=33431) and Mike on the 2008 Scott Spark (http://scottusa.com/us_en/product/57/598/spark_10). With my DIY Single Speed, I was pretty secure. I didn’t slip a derailleur cable like Mike! Anyways, these monkeys were hella-hung over. Catching up over some homemade margaritas is what I heard… I hung with them until I had to peel off just past Grisom park. I rode up to and made the water bar climb just west of Laguna Lake (had to ride around the lake due to the Fishin’ Derby!) and finished the ride…oh, so ronrey! I did a drive by near La Casa De Policar to see what was for sale at the “yard Sale” but no one was out and about…yard sale my arse!
I had to get home to make it to my son’s little league baseball bake, um I meant game (they made those kids play in that heat!!)

    Papi,

Sorry about the Yard Sale…we couldn’t get things ready quick enough the night before and figured it would be too warm to be sitting outside all day. Besides I had two clients coming over that morning to have me fix their bikes. Ya that’s right, I have clients…
