Pronghorn Bicycle: Video and the ride.

I was really intrigued by this bike so I asked Steve to let me borrow the bike for the quick, but awesome product demo route. He mentioned that no one has tested the bike in the US, and I will be the first one to do so. So here is the exclusive quick ride report:

The geometry of this bike is geared towards XC racing, and the bike performed like a thoroughbred. The bike’s handling is precise and quick, I was slicing singletrack like a hot knife thru butter. When it came to climbing, the ability to lockout the front and rear shock helped me climb the short steep hills like a hardtail would. I was very impressed with this bike, the unconventional suspension really performed well and I sure got a lot of looks.

Special thanks to Steve Richey from Promologic for letting me test ride this bike.

Weird looking bike. It looks very organic, but i’m not digging the pink/silver paint scheme.

Looks like it uses the Horst link too.
