My two cents:
We received the Bellwether Switchback shorts a little while ago. I can honestly say that I’ve put those shorts to the test. One of the best features of these shorts is the removable liner. I liked the way the chamois performed but I found out that these shorts suit me better for downhill racing. Since I like to race with Settes’ padded shorts, the removal of the liner is a major plus.

I also tested the durability of the shorts, they haven’t disappointed me. I’ve done more than a few soil sampling sessions and the shorts have withstood all the crashes. Another neat feature are the inconspicuous mesh vents on the front of the shorts, they ventilate rather well.

I also like the style of the shorts. I like to wear them on and off the bike, they don’t scream “bike geek” and they sure make you look good on the podium!

The Bellwether Switchback shorts retail for $100.00 placing them on the affordable category and a darn good deal for all the features you get from these shorts. The Moe gives them a score of 8.5 out of 10.
