What do mountain bikers do for a living?

Mountain Biking

We posted that same question on BikeCommuters.com and found out that at least 80% of our readership did some sort of IT related job.

I’ll start off, I work as an aerobics instructor…how about you?

  1. At night, I work as a Lipiador de Vidrios, con amoniaco!

But during the day, I work as a bean counter. I really do, I work for a Red and Mung Bean Processing company. We are the largest supplier of red and mung beans of SE. Asia.

I make sure that each large sack of beans have the right amount in them, thus bean counter.

  2. When I was an active mountain biker, I alternated between being employed by the National Marine Fisheries Service as a gamefish researcher and sitting on my ass smoking weed and collecting unemployment checks.

Now I don’t ride offroad so much but I’ve got a completely different career as a highly-unpaid celebrity bike blogger.

  3. I work on the 37th floor of an office building. I dream of dirt all day long. About twice a month, those dreams come true.
