This week in the world of MtnBikeRiders.com

MtnBikeRiders.com had a pretty good week. A couple of our guys are out at Sea Otter right now. While they were gone, the rest of the crew did some riding, eating and more riding.

On Thursday night, Team Rider, Wes “GQ” Castro paid a visit to the rest of the team so he could show us how well his recovery is going from his hip surgery. We all ate Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. That place has the best Wet Carnitas Burrito…mmm. Wes is holding up the Rider Down Fundraiser that is being held in honor of Wes. Click on the side banner for more information.

Doctor Thunda got out of his shift on time to join us for the ride and grub. He loves his Beef (it’s really pork) Carnitas.

This is what we call an RL sammich.

Then on Saturday, we assembled a group ride at Whiting Ranch. Priscilla and I have never been there before so we were excited to try this place out. We were joined by Dan, Mauro, Andrew and Jeff.

We were lucky enough to have Eric “The Animal” Hunner lead our ride. What’s great about Animal, as fast as he is, he would always make sure that no one was left behind.

The new MtnBikeRiders.com XC jerseys were in full force today. Priscilla, Animal and Joe modeling them at the top of Mustard Hill. Notice how Joe is glistening…wow sexy!

Not sure what this place is called, but Animal took us through some great trails. As you can see Dan is thoroughly enjoying it as well.

We only had one mechanical during the ride. Andrew flatted and Animal was glad to help. I’m just messing with Andrew, he didn’t really fart. But any time I see anyone bend over, I HAVE TO make that PRRRT sound…hehe

We ended our ride at the local Del Taco. Thanks to Joe for buying us breakfast! We learned something new from Animal today. He showed us his favorite meal. He calls it the Animal Style Super Burrito. Watch the video with your head tilted sidways to get the full effect.
