On occasion the staff of MtnBikeRiders.com will be recognized in various places. It’s happened to me a few times at the trails or at a craft store (Michaels).
So this evening while getting ready for our night ride, a cool cat, whom I’ve forgotten his name (I think his name was Joe?), came up to Priscilla and I and introduced himself. He said he’s been reading the site for quite a while now and wanted to say hi and meet us.
Unfortunately I think I may have come across as a major douchebag tonight. I was so preoccupied with trying to get the Pcych Hydtrator Trail Bag mounted on my bike that I kinda kept things short. In fact I think Priscilla talked to him more than I did. Usually I’m more than happy to talk to our readers, so to the guy we met tonight, I apologize if I came across rude. To make it up to you, I am buying you a new bike. It will be the Awnry Kung Fu Panda. Lucky guy, right? Well luckier for me that Awnry Bikes is just pretend…for now. (oooh what does he mean by that?!?)
Anyhow, here’s what I’d like to offer. If you ever see any of us on the trail or at the races. Let’s get a picture together so we can post it on the site. I have to forewarn you. Joe Solancho loves to get his picture taken without his shirt on.
