More LeBron James

By Jeremy Yang

LeBron James shows that his partial ownership of Cannondale Bicycle Corporation is not something he’s done on just a whim. It seems that LBJ is not only a bike rider himself but also a bike giver and biking advocate.

LeBron James holds an annual King for Kids Bike-a-thon in Akron, Ohio (his hometown) every year. Last year lots of big named NBA ballers including King James himself, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady and others showed up for the event riding bicycles from different manufacturers including Trek & Schwinn. I wonder if he’ll be riding a Cannondale this time around?

Schwinn Choppers to some deserving kids & kids can wear helmets!

Pictures from the event showed that the bikes being fixed or tuned up for the ride were those sold at wally world and the like:

Here is LeBron James riding his brand new bicycle, a Trek 7100; I’m guessing he is going to be riding a Cannondale next year:

The next King for Kids Bike-a-thon is going to be held on June 30. Click here for more information.
