RL Policar-We’ve solicited the help of Team Racer, Art Aguilar in testing the new Airborne Bicycles TAKA DH. Read his thoughts on it below
We got together this last weekend and RL gave me the new Airborne DH bike known as the TAKA to do our test on. I will give you all a full in-depth test as I ride this bike on some great SOCAL trails that will mimic very rough DH style race courses. If we have the Taka for our next DH race I will try to race with it.
So far with the short ride I had on it this weekend, the Taka, in my opinion handled great. The Marzocchi front and rear suspension was a good match up, and a great feeling bike in the air to jump, also a great spec package for the price. Oh yeah the price I forgot, $1300 at Giant Nerd.
Their will be more to come on this bike, so stay tuned.
Looks nice IMO. I would add some spot paint to complete its camo look.
