Please Welcome Matt D. as the newest Staffer for MtnBikeRiders.com

Matt comes to  MtnBikeRiders.com with a long history of riding East Coast singletrack. Matt grew up in New England, riding the rocky, rooty trails there on full rigid bikes for many years before finally putting front suspension on something. He still regards full suspension with suspicion, despite having owned two pretty decent full suspension bikes. Matt can generally be found riding his Redline Monocog 29er (full rigid!), though he has a few other bikes (in various stages of repair) as well. He’s a fan of big wheels, one gear, flowy singletrack, and Boston sports teams.

Matt has just started contributing to our sister site, BikeCommuters.com. He also has his own blog, Daddy Rides Bikes, where he writes about riding with and without kids in the wilds of Northern Virginia. He and his wife Adrienne live there with their two daughters (ages 3 and 8 months) and dog. They are doing their best to bring their children up properly – surrounded by bikes!
