Don’t Use Metal Tire Levers

I was at the shop the other day and some dude came in to see if he could have his tubeless rim repaired. Apparently while he was mounting a tire on the rim, his metal tire lever poked a hole through through the rim. So now he’s SOL. Well not really, he can still use the rim with a regular tube.

The moral of the story, when using tire levers, make sure they are plastic. Metal levers can damage your rims.
