Getting lucky thanks to the Bikapocalypse

I mentioned on the last post that I got “screwed” by the so-called “Bikapocalypse” but there is another side of the coin. I was able to get a great deal on an e-bike thanks to the current bike market situation.

Orbea

Being an older rider, I was scoping the market for a good deal on an electric mountain bike. I currently own a gravel e-bike and that bike has helped with with longer and hillier rides

Lo and behold, an ad in Facebook marketplace popped up for a Giant Trance Advance E+ 2 for $3,500 and this was not from a private seller but from a bike shop!

I still see this bike on sale for over $5,500 so I say I did pretty good.

Stay tuned for the review of this bike.
