If you ride DH, your lady will think you’re cool…

There’s something about riding DH that get’s Priscilla to pay more attention to me. I’ve benefited from having her wow at my awesome-tastic DH skills and the occasional podium makes it even sweeter. So if you feel like you need to turn up the heat in your relationship, give DH riding a shot.

You don’t even have to race. Just get a decent bike, get some pads and a full face helmet and go ride. I don’t know about you, but full face helmets are wicked cool and give anyone who sports one an instant “cool guy” look. Besides if you have yellow teeth, it hides them.

Let’s look at a few examples of how riding DH has benefited a rider. Take The Moe for example.

XC riding and racing just wasn’t doing much in impressing his wife Grace. But now that he’s riding DH…dude, let’s just say, she can’t get enough of THE MOE!

As you all know there’s a certain level of danger when riding DH. Rocks, steep terrain and drops are all part of the ride and guess what. DANGER is what the ladies like!

Women like the idea that their man can handle difficult and even dangerous situations. Its makes it super easy for them to respect their man if he can take on those tasks. Besides it makes them feel feminine.

They also like being part of the adventure. DH riding is basically like a small adventure each time you get on the bike. They can be part of the adventure by either watching you or riding along side of you. Now that’s a match made in heaven! Just think about it, you and your lady…doing DH…

Another thing to consider is that chicks dig bike handling skills. They love it if you can do a simple bunny hop or being able to take on some major jumps and to top all of those things…the occasional wheelie.

So if you are interested in impressing your lady, do the DH thing, and spend some time cooking her dinner, complimenting her, encouraging as well as seeing a movie with her…no not mountain biking movies…try a romantic one, like Twilight or something like that.

    Johnny,

Try not to ride to so fast through the course.Since your future wife might be one of the spectators watching you in the rock garden. Take the time to say hi to everyone you see….
