Interbike 2013: Van Dessel-Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (WTF)

This has to be one of the prettiest cyclocross bikes we saw at Outdoor Demo. We spoke to the guys at Van Dessel and they told us that this bike can be configured as a cyclocross like the way it appears in the photo or as a flat bar 29er since it can handle wider tires than most CX bikes. The photo shows it set up as a “Monster Cross” since it has Clement XC tires 29×2.1, plus the frame set is built to accept disc brakes.

We really dig the canti-lever style top double tube.
WTF Van Dessel
Run it as a single speed or geared. Comes with an eccentric bottom bracket.

The current set up has 2.1, but judging from this photo, you could go a bit bigger.
WTF

Here’s a geared version.
WTF geared

Frame set comes with frame and fork for $699
