Came across this link to the 15 Greatest Mountain Biking Crashes. Yikes. If you get queasy just thinking about crashes, do not watch.

Grotesque bodily damage
No. 10 at about 32 seconds.
No. 4 at about 33 seconds.

No. 1: I’ve seen before. It happened at Carrizo Gorge in San Diego. Here’s a link to the guy who posted it. The link has bloody pictures.

    Bikes have wheels because they’re intended to stay on the ground. Morons who treat their bikes as though they’re airplanes, get what they deserve.

    Aaron… did you even read the article? I mean… how did he “get what he deserves?” So each time you ride your bike you deserve to crash or in this case fall off a cliff by accident? Give me a break!
