People may not like President Bush because of his policies (and his popularity numbers bear this out) but we can not deny that he hasn’t raised public awareness and perception of mountain bikers. The Washington Post recently wrote a short article on President Bush’s mountain biking rides including some insight by those in his riding group.

I have to admit that if I were 61 years old and still able to go on hard, non-talking 90 minutes rides, I’d be a pretty happy camper as it would speak volumes of my physical fitness.
