Thursday Tech Tip: Proper Lubrication Technique

This week’s Tech Tip will be the proper way of lubing your chain.

When putting lube on your chain, make sure you place it on both the inside…

and outside sections of the chain.

Make sure you get all the links pretty wet. Spin the cranks a few turns making sure you run through all the gears. Then let it sit over night so the lube can work it’s way through. The following morning, take a rag and wrap it around the chain and while hold the rag in place, back pedal the crank and wipe off the excess lube away.
