The folks of Sette USA sent us the new Sette Vexx DH frame to build up and review. Here’s some pics of the frame right out of the box. I literally picked it up from UPS, drove down the street to look for a patch of grass and took some pics. You can still see the zip ties…

I have had the sette vexx for about 3 months now and have no complaints. I have ridden turner’s, m-6’s, V-10’s, sundays and a couple foes. why ask what shock will be ran with it? it comes with a vivid 4.1. maybe you meant what forks, thats cool though. I have only raced 3 times on it and will be at the fluidride cup finals at mt hood ski bowl this month. for the price it cant be beat. I run saint cranks, X-9 shifter and der. Dorado forks, atomlab dirtpimp wheels, arrow ramped bite tires, Diety dirty-thirty bars. I love the bike. I have been on the podium at all three races since i bought the frame. this frame is top notch.
Hey RL if you have questions i might be able to help. The only thing i have noticed is with my e-13 guide, the upper bolts on the top chain retainer rubbed the frame. no big deal though just file the bolts flush with the nuts and it clears.
It is Fezzari widdows peak frame with the sette name on it.
Honestly the specs on the frame is no different from most dh frames. I was going to rock an intense ss and opted to buy this frame. I know it’s not the same peicepoint but I have a good feeling on this frame. What’s the difference? Geo’s are within tolorences, made from the standard aluminum most frames are made of. Triangle was CBC machined. So I wAnt to know what would make this or any other frame unexceptable besides heritage and pedigree?? The build looks solid and I have no doubt this frame will handle just as good as proper v-10. Thoughts??
