1. It’s winter. The rest of the country is starting to get snow and that means very little riding.
2. It’s the holidays. This works in two ways. People need money and they want to sell the items that will yield the most. This also means that they’ll lower their prices below the market value to get your attention.
Check out your local Craigslist ads, ebay or MTBR’s classified for the best deals. Shoot I sold my own single speed bike for $140…but that wasn’t for Christmas, I needed to pay my speeding ticket.
