Azonic Surround Sound Helmet

I finally got a chance to hit the dirt trails last Thursday Night with RL and Priscilla. I got to ride with the Azonic Surround Sound Helmet. I plugged in my NON-IPOD MP3 player and we hit the trails.

The sound quality is sort of like an FM radio, the volume can be loud enough that you can’t hear your buddy’s conversation. At a decent volume, you are still able to hear your surroundings and the music at the same time. I asked RL if he could hear my music, he said “I could hear it but it wasn’t obnoxious”, mind you, I was cranking out Judas Priest and Slayer tunes.

As far as ventilation goes, well, its a bucket helmet with few vents so it got a little hot on the uphills. Let’s just say that I won’t be riding with it on 100 degree weather.

I think Azonic has hit a Triple with this helmet concept, I hope it will entice younger riders to wear a helmet.
