We’re picking up the KHS Tucson today. Once I get it (sometime tonight) I’ll take some pictures and do a quick write-up. Check back in later tonight for the post. KHS Tucson Here are the specs from the website: Frame CrMo Double Butted, Top & down TrueTemper OX Fork Rock Shox Tora 318 Solo Air…

This morning I got a chance to throw a leg over the K2 Lithium 4.0 and the Spinner Cargo fork RL is testing. My first thought is that it looks like a pretty beefy fork from up top. The crown is bigger than the Reba & Marzocchi bomber fork I’m used to looking at, but…

The chatter coming out of mtbr.com forums confirms that Rock Shox is coming out with a different offset for the Reba fork. Not to get too technical, but the current offset is at 38mm while the suspected new offset will be 47mm. Increasing offset by nearly 10mm means quicker handling through the tight stuff. More…

Jeremy & El Moro Map This past Saturday my buddy Ivan & I went to ride some trails in El Moro. Due to time constraints and our being unfamiliar with El Moro, we spent some time discussing exactly which ride to do and ended up choosing El Moro Redtail Ridge – Rattlesnake. We used geoladders.com…

It’s being reported on mtbr.com forums that Travis Brown (Trek-Volkswagon team) was riding a full suspension Trek 29er. Can we say Trek Fuel 29er? He was also toting around a Trek hardtail 29er. Sorry, no pictures to post as Travis’s bike was a bit camera shy.

Ibex Section-29 The Question As 29ers enter into the product lines of mega manufacturers, is this the beginning of the end of boutique 29er sales? vs The Background With Specialized rumored to be coming out with a full line up of 29er bikes and Cannondale filling its 29er lineup with a “race” ready 29er, more…

I’ve been riding with the Optic Nerve Savant Fade Carbon glasses for about a month. MSRP: $59.00. You can find it on their website under the link “Collection 2007″ and then from the menu on the left select “Interchangeableâ€?. Savant is on the first row, middle. When I’m reviewing sunglasses with interchangeable lens, I’m looking…
