We’ve had this lube for a few months and have had the chance to test it out on a number of bikes we have. Bike that include mountain, road, fixed and kids bike. Heck even door hinges have benefited from this lube.
So here’s a preview of what the review will look like…..
In the application of a mountain biking lube, Purple Extreme, though it states on the bottle, “400 miles between applications“, we found that the lube will last no more than 20-30 miles per application in the So. Cal trail conditions that include dry and dusty trails. However, in road applications, I’ve used this lube on my fixed gear bike a few months ago and have yet to reapply it. It has been at least 350 miles since my last Purple Extreme treatment on my Redline 925.
