I’ve owned my Giant Warp since 2004. I bought it brand new from a shop and since then the bike has taken quite a transformation. It started off as a humble XC bike that I even raced with, and now its this thing, 6 inches of travel in the front, and 5 inches in the back…
With my recent single speed builds, the use of the Warp has been at a minimum. Since the time that I built the Sette Reken, the Warp has seen 2-3 times of use. With that said, I’m selling it. But at what price? Not sure. It does kinda make me sad to know that this baby will be enjoyed by someone else. But at the same time, I’m happy that it could provide the same amount of joy for the new owner as it has me.
So with your help, perhaps I can sell this thing fast. Besides, I have an over due speeding ticket that is waiting to be paid off…
Give me a fair estimate on what the value is of this bike, then with that info, I’ll be listing it on Craigslist.

you could probably get $500 from a Giant fan I just sold my ’07 XXIX ($800 new), and only got $435 for it on ebay.
Ya, that rear shock and frame are what will hurt the sale(no offense to your Warp, but i used to have one), but the rest of the spec is pretty dang nice. I’d say start at $600 to $700, then reduce the price if you don’t get any interest.
Craigslist is the way to go.

I sold the XXIX because of the EBB, I love the ride of the steel, the ebb Constantly had issues of staying in place, and also the stock crank was a SS crank, when I due to the weight, I really needed a small ring too, BUT with all the weight already, I wasn’t going to add the weight small ring/der./shifter.
I’m going take this bike down to our friend’s ranch and do some downhill runs…one last time.
So I bought an SE Stout, and put my carbon fork, and a 2×9 drive, and it is 2 and a half pounds lighter, than the XXIX with the carbon fork and 1×7 drive, with out the issues of the EBB.
The SS Stout with the carbon fork is 23.7 pds

The Stout is Awesome! I just (tried) to post it on RateMyBicycle, the geometry fits me better and loosing that weight Plus the small chainring, i have bought a second wheelset and now it is my main rig
