Share MTB Poker Ride

This weekend SHARE MTB hosted a Poker Ride. The ride was held at EL Moro trail which is in Crystal Cove State Park in Orange County. I didn’t ride the event, but decided to drop in to say hi to some friends of MtnBikeRiders.com.

I loaded up my kids and drove down to Crystal Cove.

When we got there, we found a perfect parking spot next to the KHS Bicycles Box Truck.

Mark Malatesta of Hoss MTB enjoying a Fat Tire Ale…by the way, he was the MC of the event.

Share had over 150 riders that participated. All the proceeds goes to support Share and their initiatives.

Here’s a sweet Custom Felt “New Belgium” cruiser that was going to be raffled off.

Another raffle item, a KHS Solo One 29er.

Mark getting the raffle ready.

Met up with an old friend Dale. I found out that morning that he sells designer 29er shirts. Yeah, Pricepoint has them available. Check it out HERE and HERE.
Here’s a picture of Dale showing off his new Niner Sir 9.

Rock N’ Road Cyclery was there representing.

Check out all of these bikes…all of them are from the riders that participated.

New Belguim showing off their schwag.

Check this out, a head badge!

Another one of our friends, Mike D. of Anaheim Hills Bicycles.

The turn out was great, I just hope that what ever proceeds they were able to raise, that it was enough to support Share MTB. Anyhow, it was great seeing some of our old friends as well as making new ones. Looking forward to checking out the next event.
